You might think how is it possible to be active during wokring hours? Well, the good news is that there are plenty of ways! Meditation In Office

Meditation is a very powerful form of mind control which can really get you thinking in a great way. In fact it was one of the things which got me started on 9-2-5 Health. I suffered from a mix of anxiety and felt so lost, but one day something just clicked and I told myself I was so much stronger and I was going to change this. What it did for me was almost like a miracle and I want to share it with other people. This is where 925 Health has come from. Now let’s get started and see if it can help set you in the right direction to feeling strong, happy and confident.

  • If you have access to headphones plug them in your laptop or phone on your lunch break after you have eaten and find somewhere to sit down.
  • Number 1. Listen to a calm instrumental of anything from lord of the rings soundtrack to beautiful celtic music. Ignore everything around you and just sink in to this.
  • Number 2. Focus on everything positive in your life so far and think about the things that motivate you the most like family, your dream partner etc.
  • Number 3. Just genuinely tell yourself you are doing ok. It’s ok to feel stress- it’s part of being a human being. Now the next part is really great.
  • Number 4. Just say to yourself WHAT IF? Visualise success and feel exactly what it would be like to get everything you want. Let that thought sink in your head and realise that it can actually happen. You just need to believe it. Once you do that a lot of things start to change.
  • Finally start to watch videos on the Law Of Attraction. This is a really good theory which can change your mindset and the way you perceive everyday life.

Walking

Yes walking. Do it on your lunch break or whenever you get a chance. It is something we all do but if you do it with a bit of pace you will be surprised at the health benefits it can give you. Here are a few examples of what it can do for you:

  • Burn over 100 calories in 30 minutes.
  • Increase circulation around the body which promotes oxygen transfer giving you more energy to work.
  • It get’s you moving and helps to promote digestion in your body so you feel less bloated from being sat in your office desk all day.
  • It can make you feel happy and give you a positive mental mind which is essential for a healthy mindset. Give it a try.
  • It gives you some time to yourself to get your mind away from work and the stress. This is good for mental health and will work in tune with the meditation below.

Office Exercises

There are a few exercises and stretches that you can perform at your office desk or room; Here are some great ones to try.

  • Stand up slowly and stretch toward the ceiling slowly rotating left and right. After this keep your legs straight and bend down and reach towards your toes. Do this for 1-2 minutes.
  • If you can from standing simply drop slowly in a squat position and hold for 5-10 seconds and return. Do this for 1-2 minutes.
  • Sat on your chair, raise your chest towards the ceiling and breath calmly. Hold it there for 5-10 seconds and return slowly to a neutral position.
  • A good tip is to always try and stay sat upright in your chair. Never slouch over your shoulders as this is bad for your posture in any situation, not just work. Try to keep upright and train your core. It will get easier over time 🙂
